The weather is gorgeous right now, and the flowers and trees are blooming. It’s a beautiful time of year, and we’ll be celebrating Easter this weekend too.
I love sitting outside on our front porch or taking a long walk through the neighborhood on days like this. Unfortunately, I also get allergies, and the last couple of days, it’s been bad. So I’m taking a break from going outside, and I’m staying inside with the air filter running…I feel much better. But how sad I am not outside!
I thought I might console myself by pulling out some of the best photographs I’ve taken over the years of our journeys and discoveries in nature. Some of them were taken in my yard. Others were taken at nearby parks or on trips. They bring back a lot of memories. They are my favorites, and I hope you enjoy them too.

I hope you’re having a beautiful and memorable springtime, and I hope you’ll tell me how you’re spending your recent/upcoming days. If you celebrate Easter, I wish you a Happy Easter. If you celebrate passover, I wish you a Happy Passover.

What a beautiful collection of photos! Shame about your allergies! Some of my kids are suffering as well. I think mine are more fall allergies. I hope yours improve soon. Happy Easter weekend! We have been participating in our church’s PRINCE of PEACE campaign on mormon.org There is also a Holy Week timeline on there that is cool (just scroll down the home page to find it). We’ve been reading the scriptural account starting with Palm Sunday. On Easter we’ll go to church and then have a traditional ham and potato salad dinner afterwards.

Thank you, Camie! I am feeling much better after a day inside. I think it was the right decision. Hopefully in a few days whatever I’m allergic to will dissipate. It sounds like you have a full weekend ahead! Have a lovely Easter with your family!

I told my husband I feel like a bear coming out of hibernation as our snow finally started a serious melt a week ago and I have been outside more. Started seeds for the garden and cannot wait to plant. My eyes are a bit itchy this morning. Allergies are no fun. Hope yours get better soon. Happy Easter!
