Oh, looks lovely! My daughter would have been joyfully right beside them as her favorite things are water, mud and sticks! She did get to enjoy the mud today up here in NH though as it was snowing pretty hard but just above freezing, so slushy and messy, which was perfect for her! Not so much for the one who does her laundry though….
Thanks for your comment, Peggy! Burr! But I know I always loved playing in the snow when I was little too. (I lived in Colorado.) I wish your daughter could have been with us today. It was relaxing and fun. And I completely sympathize with you about the laundry! We went out to eat afterward, and my boys wore their muddy clothes into the restaurant! lol
Part of the reason I keep a blog is because being a stay-at-home mom can be lonely! So please reach out with a message, if you have a question or would like to chat. I usually write back within 24 hours, but please be patient. Cancel reply

😉 Yeah, they didn’t get as dirty as they did this day: https://mamaofletters.com/2012/05/29/let-them-play-in-the-mud-and-theyll-fondly-remember-their-childhoods/
